We know that some of you love to take part in workshops and courses, so we are delighted to announce that Christine Pike, MA will be teaching several workshops in Sculpting with Paperclay.
Paperclay is an incredibly versatile sculpting medium. It's main ingredient is paper - it doesn't contain any clay at all - and Christine makes her own version from recycled newspaper pulp. You can also buy a perfectly smooth version of paperclay from specialist suppliers. Christine will show you how to combine both in the construction of a figure that will be strong, durable, and doesn't need to be fired in a kiln. Due to the nature of the material and construction it is inexpensive to make and environmentally responsible - what's not to like??
