Clay Sculpting Workshops
2025
Join me for a series of small, friendly workshops in figurative clay sculpting. The classes will be held either at my studio or at the Discover Downham Heritage Centre. Both venues are a short walk from the charming 'Gingerbread Town' of Downham Market, where you will find plenty of lovely cafes and shops. There is free parking at both venues.

If you are coming a long way and need to stay over, why not make a weekend of it and take some time to explore west Norfolk?

Sculpting Masterclasses with Christine Pike, MA
Are you:
-
Serious about sculpting but frustrated with your lack of progress?
-
Keen to sculpt figures but don’t know where to begin?
-
Looking for inspiration to create your own unique figures?

These workshops are ideal for anyone who has some experience with sculpting their own figures, or who is full of ideas but would like some guidance in how to realise their vision.
They are particularly suitable for anyone who wishes to make fantasy figures or busts, dolls, puppets, or masks.

During each workshop I will share everything I have learned over more than 30 years as a professional sculptor. Each session will be a mix of demonstrations by me and hands-on practice and experimentation by you. These session will not be ‘sculpting by numbers’ - instead, you will be encouraged to work from your imagination and find your own style. At the end of the workshop you will be able to take home everything you have made to use as reference in your continuing sculpting journey.
