Frances makes small mixed-media sculptures and jewellery.
Her jewellery is predominantly bird and flower themed in silver, bronze and copper.
The sculptures feature animals and birds that are formed from brass & copper, these are combined with painted wooden elements. Some animals are single pieces based on a wooden plinth, others are part of larger pieces.
Her subjects include woodland scenes, boats, sheds, houses and towers and more recently derelict barns and jetties.
Each piece is made by hand so details and characters are very individual.
Everything is made in her workshop at home in Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire.
